Metropolitan Emergency Information System
See how the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) is using Apex’s i-INFO.EPR application suite. This EPR network of users, called the Metropolitan Emergency Information System, involves over 165 agencies that are building a knowledgebase of regional resources (e.g. persons with specific skills, equipment, facilities, supplies, emergency plans, protocols…). New functionality in i-INFO is enabling mass communications by email, phone, pager and cell phones. In 2005, i-INFO will release event management that offers a regional event calendar that will be used to coordinate emergency training classes, meetings, exercises and conferences.
